Sunset drivein cinema is a very old and well known place of the ahmedabad. This is an open air theater. And provide entertainment at very reasonable rates. But it has become very older but no renovation or improvement has been done till date. So I think it is a theater with good concept but lethaly needs improvement. So I will describe it's pros and cons in detail.
CONS:( 1) this is an open air theater so you can't enjoy movies during rain and during daytime. They provide entertainment only during night in separate 7: 30 pm and 10: 30 pm shows.
( 2) the sound quality is very law and bad. They do not have common sound speakers but have separate speakers for each seating. Some of the speakers are out of working condition. And some do not give proper sound.
( 3) the sitting is not as comfortable is well. The sitting is made of stone. So it hits during summer and it becomes very uncomfortable to sit like that place. In balcony they have chairs for sitting. And most of them is damaged.
( 4) the people visiting that place are law class and misbehaving. So you should think of visiting that place with your family.
( 5) there are very big lines on ticket counters during hit movies. And they could not manage very big crowd.
( 6) the infrastructure has become very old they need to renovate it.
( 7) there are not anybperson for service and security.they should.recruite the staff for better management and better service.
PROS:( 1) I like the screen of that theater. It is about 10 floor big screen. So you will get bigger picture quality.
( 2) the cars are alowded in that theater. In fact separate places has been given for the cars. So you can enjoy picnic with watching movie out here.
( 3) the ticket rates are fixed at 50 rupees per person. So it is very reasonable and everyone can affort it.
( 4) food is alowded in the theater so you can take homemade food here and can enjoy a small picnic. In fact food courts also provides food at reasonable rates.
( 5) the parking is allowed in very big area. But you have to pay for it.
