Previously my Grandfather had a joint account along with my Uncle in State Bank of India, Baranagar Branch, Kolkata and most of the time it was me who was doing all the operations with the Bank on their behalf for the last 17 years. Some people are giving bad reviews as “Worst Bank” and some people are giving good reviews as “Good Bank”, I think it depends on the Branch with which you’re dealing.
Now the service which I got from my Branch for the last so many years was excellent. I was dealing with S.B.I when everything was done on Manual basis and I think it’s only nationalized bank in India particularly in Kolkata and in my area to be specific, which was made Computerized before any other nationalized bank of India like U.C.O, P.N.B, United Bank Of India, etc. Nowadays they’re providing almost every online facilities which a private bank offers to you.
Yes, there are still few loopholes in the system but I think that’ll also be rectified in due time.
