The largest public sector bank in India has got hooligans working in it. This is a review about the North Lakhimpur branch in Assam. The bank keeps super busy all throughout the day, no doubt, but you should see the queue that never seems to shorten till the bank closing hours.
Only one cash deposit counter to take care of all sorts of transaction needs of the customers is the result of such long queues. if you have to send cash to someone or get your check cashed, be prepared to waste the entire day waiting for your turn. and to top it all, the rude attitude of the clerks when trying to ask for information will make you cringe every time. Poor, poor service!
