Star Wars The Last Jedi written and directed by Rian Johnson, this is eight installment of the numbered Star Wars movies not counting the spin-offs. In the Force Awakens star killer base as destroyed, Kylo Ren goes back to snow, Ray finds Luke Skywalker hands him his lightsaber. That's where we star out, so Ray wants to be trained by Luke Skywalker, Kylo has something to prove and all of this while Dameron and the rest of resistance want to be the spark that will light the fire.
There are many things that I don't like. First of all, let's talk about Luke, Mark Hamill was great. He is clearly a damaged man, he was kind of sarcastic but I thought he was fantastic in fact my favorite of all character. Poe Dameron had a lot more to do this time. When a character is in danger you do feel that danger, I love that. Good job Rain Johnson. Humor in this movie irritated me also I don't like humor in episode 7.
Visually speaking Ryne Johnson is on another level. Action sequences are great and the space battles look fantastic.
There are scenes where Finn and Rose go to a dump planet that bores me and just when they're on their mission, rest assured you can leave the theater to take a break. This movie feels too long, it's that scene if you take that out you could save off a half an hour of this movie.
They don't show more of Phasma in the last movie now here's her chance to shine. But she's just as useless as the previous movie.
I am deeply disappointed by this one. I am Die-hard Star Wars fan. This movie leaves me feeling unfulfilled. Go see it if you enjoy some good action with turn and twist.
