I traveled with Spicejet only 4 times but out of 4,3 times flight is delayed or flight is cancelled. No on time flight. Only airhostage is somewhat OK. Also leg space is not Ok. For Guwhati-Kolkata they used to go with low seat capacity flight so not all comfortable because of engine propeller noise.
If the weather is not means dew or cloudy or raining also they used to cancel flight. If you have any urgent work do not go for Spicejet friends. Indigo and Spicejet price also not that much diffrence. So better fly with Indigo.
