Today, I was shocked to receive a false legal notice for my now discontinued SpectraNet connection.
I got this connection installed on 21st Feb 2013 under the scheme "Pay for 1st month & get 2nd month free" scheme & paid advance rental of Rs. 786 on 17th Feb 2013 applicable for connection till 21st April 2013. On 28th April 2013, I again paid advance rental and renewed the connection for one more month till 21st May 2013.
As I was disappointed with the very poor quality of this connection and less than promised speed after the FUP limit, I subsequently disconnected it on 20th May 2013. Now, after 9 months, SpectraNet is sending me a FALSE legal notice from some firm called KS Partners claiming I need to pay them Rs. 786+ 24% simple interest+ Rs. 10, 000 as cost of legal notice- otherwise they will initiate legal action against me!
Very surprised to see SpectraNet indulging in such unfair business practices & harassing an old customer for disconnecting their pathetic connection and that too, after clearing all the dues!
