Really bad experience .Trip to Kashmir, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, etc on 2nd April 2016
1.Food and accommodation was really bad .Dal was the main food, no south Indian choices .One of the Room was as small as match box.Got cold food at Gulmarg.
- Bus, AC controls was not working, seat adjustment switches was damaged .Very bad coach.
3.We did not get a bathroom to refresh at Delhi, before the start of the journey .They were asking to take room for Rs 2000 just for refresh or just for an hour.We were a group of 9 people, even then no facility was provided .There was a latrine which was not having any bucket or shower .We are forced to take a room for refresh.Southern might have provided some facility to refresh, with some charges if needed .
4.Unprofessional staff at hotels .They provided a defective water heating kettle and argued
that I damaged it .They forced me to pay for that, I was not able to use it at-least once .
5.I paid for one 3 bed room, they provided 2 bed room with an extra bed.The extra bed was not having any heaters and temperature was 3 degree.
6.Hotel at Amrister, toilet was really bad, water was not going outside and it got flooded after a bath .
7.They charged Rs 15 for a kettle of water .Normally any hotel give a bottle of water .
8.Bus driver was good, he was drinking in the night, so I was bit tensed .
9.One of the bus staff was lazy, since I was not able to close the AC duct, I was shivering .
I asked the staff to open the luggage box to take sweaters .He was reluctant .
10.I spoke with tourists who I met at Kashmir, they came with Paniker Travels .According to them it was excellent .Stay was really posh and cooks travel with them, so food was super.I will try that next.
11.Good thing was I was able to see tulip garden and snow .
