I recently watched Son of Sardaar 2 expecting it to be a fun entertainer like the first part. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver on many fronts.
Storyline: The plot continues from where the original left off, but it feels stretched and lacks freshness. It tries to blend action, comedy, and emotion, but ends up being confusing and loud. The family rivalry theme is too predictable and full of clichés.
Performance:
Ajay Devgn once again tries to carry the film with his strong screen presence, but the weak script doesn't give him much scope.
The lead actress adds glamour but not much to the story.
Supporting actors like Sanjay Dutt ( if included) or others are underused or caricatured.
Comedy scenes feel forced, and most jokes fall flat.
Direction & Music: The direction feels lazy, with many scenes copied from South Indian films. The music is average – only one or two songs are catchy. Action scenes are overdone and unrealistic.
Verdict: If you're looking for mindless action and loud comedy, you may tolerate it. But if you want a meaningful story or genuine entertainment, this movie will disappoint. It lacks the spark and emotional connect of the original.
