Its a great movie, no skin flick !. Review on Sins

First of all people forget the idea that u're gonna watch the movie for its scenes. its all about relationships and adultery and NOT the act of sex. its all about how a man abuses his power just for his own lustful desires. its not about sex and its NOT about exposing stuff on the big screen.

what this movie is about is abuse of power and goodwill. its about a christian vicar who abuses his goodwill in a christian village in kerala and tries to seduce a local girl. he does suceed at first but then he also promises he will marry her. he does nothing of the sort and convinces her to marry someone for the sake of it, but at the same time he wants the physical relationship to continue.

the best part about the movie is very good acting, very good cinematics and very good editing on behalf of yash raj films. now I hope u understand that such a big banner is not going to make a skin flick. what the film does manage to portray is a very successful picture of a village in a 1980s.

there are thankfully no songs and the story is very convincing. the best part comes when the girl gets married to someone else and the priest cant take it anymore and he finally decides to kill her.

the movie is about the dark side of relationships which is rarely shown and talked about. it shows us that sex is more about power than physical desire. and very successfully this movie manages to portray the story of a young girl and a priest who is just bothered about getting his desires fulfilled !
