I purchased Microtek inverter last year from Mr. Santhosh. They bought the inverter in a sealed pack and told me that its a new one but did not bring a bill and guarantee card. They said both of the documents will be sent to me via courier because I had not yet maid the payment. I agreed and they installed he inverter. After 2-3 weeks when I did no receive any document, I called them again and they said it will come in 2-3 days.
After that I called again 2-3 times and they repeated the same, then I went onsite for some time and forget. This month when a problem happened with the inverter I called the Microtek support and told them the serial number, they said the 2 year warranty is already expired, I was shocked to know that it was a second hand inverter which they gave me and its guarantee card was first registered 2 years back. More shock came when I called Microtek engineer to repair the problem, When he opened the inverter he found that all the fuse have been bypassed by shorting the wires, that why all fuse were intact but internal circuit was blown up.
I request people to be aware of these guys as they are a big scam. they are simply purchasing 2nd hand inverters, repairing them and selling at the price of a new. And that's why their prices are less. Don't get lured by their competent price, They are selling second hand repaired goods.
