Last month I have visited Shivthar Ghal. In Marathi Ghal means cave. Generally we visit the place may be because of its beautiful landscape or hilly area or historical things. But Shivthar Ghal is combination of both. From pune it is having 120 KM distance and from Bhor it is 57 KM away. Ramdas Swami is very famous name in Maharashtra. He is a great saint. He has dictated the famous Granth ( The Holy Book) "DAS BODH" to Kalyan Swami , his disciple. Ramdas Swami has lived here about 22 years. At the entrance of cave you will find some restaurants. Also if you want to stay , you will find trust hall or a Zilla Parishad guest house. During Manson this looks very beautiful as it has one waterfall. So If you have only 1-2 days vacation then I highly recommend to visit Shivthar Ghal.
