This place is located in the Garo hills of meghalaya.i visited this place twice in my life.there is no direct train and we have to travel through cabs and buses.the weather remains mildly cold normally and in some of the seasons there is extreme cold filled wid snow.cost of living is very high in shillong.and we cannot find anything that cost below Rs 5.to stay for 1 night the hotels charge minimally around 1000 bucks n even more than that.the food in the hotels are just okay and cost very high.the cab drivers charge very high for new passengers and u might also be fooled if u r not previously aware of the actual charge.
