It is a very useful device to store data.
Lets come to performance:
It has a USB 3.0 port which allows fast data tranfer. It is also compatible with 2.0 USB ports.
One issue I have found, that if you are using this hard disk for a longer period of time ( more than 2hrs) , the hard disk heats up.
Rather than this it is very useful device for backing up data. I am fully satisfied with it. It works in windows all versions, and also in ios. ( I have not tested in linux or other OS.i hope it will function the same.)
I would suggest people to buy it and have an experience!
