If you are looking for a decent smart phone, within a decent price range, you have come to the right place. Look no more, for you have Samsung Galaxy S6 at your service. The phone comes with a 4.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 312 pixels per inch.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TP via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S6 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 2200mAh removable battery. It measures 134.00 x 67.20 x 9.40(height x width x thickness) and weighs 133.00 grams.(For people worrying about backdated android, fear not because the lastest updates give some of the features of android lollipop even)
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a dual SIM(GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G(with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. The new version betters its ancestors at heating issues, because this device comes with an update that resolves battery problems and heating issues. Talking about updates, you will get plenty of them, which is a very important feature of MI.
Following is a list of Pros and con of the device(after using for over an year
1) Heating Probem: None after update.
2) Camera: Superb.
3) Battery life: Lasts 1 and a half day after standard use(camera, gaming, calling, browsing)
3) Performance: Presents no lag even for high end games like Asphalt.
4) Features: Comes packed with QR scanner, compass, call recorder, security, file explore, swiftkey keypad(THE BEST keypad
5) Regular updates: Yes. I get updates every three months, and so will you. in the lastest update, they gave out Mi Drop, which is essentially like Xender or Xapaya.(Now you have Inbuilt Xender/Xapaya) Basically you don't need thid party apps anymore.
6) UI: It might take some time getting used to(No app drawer). It was a turn off for me too, but with time you will realise it's better, neat and it makes easy for you to find apps.
7) Call clarity: Standard. You can listen to the other end very clearly. There are no network drops either.
8) Backlit keys: There are none, but you wouldn't need them anyway after a few months of use and getting used to.
I rate this phone(on an overall basis) a 4.4 out of 5.
Do buy. You are missing on the best and the cheapest smart phone.
