Friends, I am a b.tech student and I like learning new programming languages so to pursue my passion I bought this book for clearing my basic concepts but is a long span of time I found that this book is totally insufficient for beginners and it will create many confusions in our minds.
When I bought this book the outside packing was good but on opening the book I found that page no. 50 - 57 is missing which is very disappointing. I talked to the publishers but they didn't provide me a new one.
The contains at least 2 to 3 examples at the end of the chapter which is based on the new and fresh concept and this is the best part of this book.
The strange features of this book are that Moncur explains every question in multiple ways using "if"; "for", "while", "switch" and many others.
Overall this book is not that bad but is also not very good you can pot for this book only if want some basic information but if you want a deep understanding of the java then this book is not for you.
