Reliance Jio is headed by business baron Mr. Mukesh Ambani who is known for his wit and business acumen. He has started price war in the whole telecom industry. Nobody could have ever thought that they would be able to talk to anybody without paying any price. The idea behind introducing Free Calling facility is quite revolutionary. People would be charged only for data services. Reliance has also launched new mobile phone with the scheme they are offering. Well, as a layman, I think that the initiative launched by Reliance Jio will compel its competitors to slash their voice and data calling charges and will be beneficial from the common man perspective. Though, it is still speculative that how long will Reliance Jio continue providing this introductory service. But, There is no problem in retrieving benefits arising out of this amazing opportunity for free voice calling facility.
