This is to all rediffmail fans. What you and I always thought was speedy has become a nightmare for me.

The worst free email service I have ever seen is rediffmail.com. Yesterday evening, I tried to login to my account and I suddenly found that my account is inactive, even though I login to it regularly. I then tried to login a 100 times. Suddenly, when I sent a mail to my account from another email id, it said that no such address exists. I was completely shocked. All my months of hard work and efforts gone down the drain. I re-registered for the same email id and I got it. I was totally surprised. This had never happened with me before.

I emailed their customer care, but I did not get any reply. What should people do if there is no 24-hour helpline to help the people? What good is an email service when they do not cater to the masses properly?

Someone had deactivated my account for absolutely no fault of mine. I lost all my important emails and job-related notices altogether. Rediffmail has become totally untrustworthy. If all your important records get deleted like this, then why should you use such a stupid service.

Yahoo is much better in this manner. They have safe logins and not a single email of mine has been deleted with yahoo so far. Whom do you rely on to keep your data safe, if such is the problem with some free email ids. I always thought that it was easy to login to rediffmail and gave my id to several employers. This is a violation of privacy and there is no guarantee of safety of your data, which you stored with such hard work.

God protect us from rediffmail. If the free service itself is like this, how would the paid service be?
