I booked my bus from Delhi to Chandigarh but an hour before scheduled departure but representative call and say departure is pre-poned and if I will get will get there by then and on being informed that I can't he says ok and disconnected the call.


Few mins later I got a message from the operator stating they have waited enough and won't wait anymore! In disgust I cancelled my entire trip as wouldn't be able to make it.


I raised my concern but redbus people just kept sending mails saying they have spoken to operator and the matter is sorted but here I have paid 1200 IN, been trashed, responded to so many mails with no avail and the matter is far from resolved as I haven't received my money back. It is quite obvious they were resorting to the cancellation norms wherein if you cancel an hour before the departure they reserve the right to do not refund the money and then they well sell that seat to someone else at higher price(Urgency charge like late night charges).


This is daylight robbery and to think the authorities are blind about this or turning their heads the other way. All in all Redbus is a waste of time and their customer service is pathetic and that one experience turned me off from their app and deleted the same.
