I'm using red bus since last year and I know why people post hateful review about it.The service has been downgraded since last 6 months, There was a time when the service and response was excellent but these days you have to face certain problems while booking.The main problem is the customer care service response.If you get into problem like failed transaction or decided to cancel the ticket is very long and frustrating process to get back your money, you will have to call and drop at-least 10 emails they you will get your problem sorted out.I have faced too many problems but I still use redbus because its the only service provider in my city which is very good.
About the website and the applications on various platform, they are very user friendly which I like the most, but chances are high that you will face failed transactions while booking through website so I use app more often.
On the whole the redbus team should improve the customer service and make changes to the website, rest all the things are pretty good, give it a try.
