RD is one of the most reputed magazines...I have been reading this magazine since more than 10 year with some breaks in between.


This year I resumed my subscription offer. This was the worst experience with any magazine subscription I had ever. Out of 6 months of subscription, 3 copies have not been delivered yet. I visited there website and there is a section in which one can report missing/damaged copies. I reported long back, and there is no response yet. I also gave a couple of phone calls to their offices in Delhi and Mumbai, they all said that they would call me back, and I am still waiting for thier calls to be received.


The main problem lies in their distribution channel. They use the normal post method from the Indian postal department for distributing the copies. And the post man by easily manages to take 1 copy away an earn 50 bucks straight...!!!


This is not at all expected from a magazine of such reputation..


I think it is better to buy the magazine from the newstand since it is not at all cost effective to subscribe and feel the pain of missing copies.
