I am from bangalore and visited North India tour with familythis month. I paid 33000/- for rao travels for package which includes accomodation and sight seeing for 4 people. Day1. Receive in Delhi Airport and Delhi local sight seeing by car.
Day 2. Haridwar and Rishikesh by AC bus
Day 3. Agra and Mathura by Volvo bus
Day 4. Travel to Manali by Volvo bus
Day 5. Manali sight seeing by car
Day 6. Kulu sight seeing by car.Package ends
What is good:
1) Little bit cheaper compared to other operators.
2) Hotel accommodation provided in Delhi and Manali is good.
what is bad:
1) No proper response from the staff, lot of ignorance to the customer.
2) they dont have hotels and they books with their partners, customer need to followup every time to know the hotel name. they will not inform you before.
3) They sent us to Manali from Delhi and other private Tourists, where those people are not at all responsible and very rude
4) they dont operate in manali and deal with partners for sight seeing, for this also we did lot of calls to get the car.
Finally: Better book hotels by your own in goibibo or makemytrip and book day trips through southern travels which is very big than Rao travels. Or else if you need accomodation also go for Southern travels
