I wasn’t sure what that meant at first, but being able to talk before matching changes everything. There’s less pressure. You can send a thoughtful message based on someone’s profile, and they can reply if they’re interested. It’s more human, less swipe-and-judge. I had a great conversation with someone about books before we even matched. It felt natural, like texting a you stumbled up on randomly.
