Couple of years back I wasn’t even on a social networking site, now I am on a 'relationship networking site' as they call it! No, not a matrimony site but one which lets you mingle with people - how's that!
I have no interest in dating as I am busy with my work and whatever time I have left we hangout a lot at movies or go for shopping, but this site is definitely for people who really want to go that extra distance in discovering new people or in plain terms 'strangers'.
The site is a honeypot of people looking to make different kinds of relationships and yeah some are there for just time pass. But in my opinion the site is really good on many levels. For a person like me, especially, I managed to block some fellows who were troubling me.
No wonder it has a lot of people joining it on an almost daily basis as I keep getting requests, waves or personalized messages from new and different people every time. To be frank, there are no social taboos here and everyone is an equal. While I catch up on chat with someone from Tamil Nadu or someone from Mumbai just from the comfort of being safe and understanding the other person! Importantly, get to know a lot about different cultures.
Coming back to where I should be (this is not my personal blog!!). People - if you are looking to date someone, or looking for genuine people online, I think the site has something to offer you. But all said and done, be safe, use common sense! :)
