We visit a multiplex in our Ahmedabad city and one of the best multiplex is PVR Cinemas. We like to watch movies there specially for screen size, sound system and comfortable chairs. Every place has pluses and minuses and so as PVR Cinemas too. PVR Cinemas is located at 3rd Floor, Acropolis mall, SG Road in Ahmedabad.

We usually buy tickets online and at the ticket counter. There is a disappointment. People working at ticket counter are not professionals. They behave like they own the multiplex. They are not polite at all. They are not so serious towards their job. They do the job right but not polite and responsive. Mic system is so bad that neither of us hear each others’ voice clearly. There are 3 people sitting next to each other and we just cant hear to whom we are talking to, because of noise of everybody all together trying to talk to each other. They are not willing to show us our seats while booking on their computer! How pathetic it is. Other multiplexes show us and they are in fact willing to show us! I dont know what strategies they might have made to refuse our offer to show our seat while booking. They tell us seat number but hey, we cant figure out exact row just by listening a seat number! Online sales is even more pathetic. There is no trouble booking online but only problem I see is an extra charge on the name of “convenience charge” – then shut this facility down. Have we asked you to sell online for our convenience? This is a computer application, once developed; works forever. You dont have to charge us extra for this and for what? It is even better if more people book online, you dont have to keep many people working at your ticket counter! Just a money making concept for their business but sort of cheating with customers to ask them to pay more money.
