Personally I think Pizza Hut is a more child friendly version of Pizza Express(another favourite of mine) They have quite an extensive menu and on the whole the food is generally quite good.
Whichever Pizza Hut you choose to go to I have found that the restaurants are pretty much the same, all the furniture and fixtures tend to be red and cream in colour, I have found that the tables tend to be set out to accommodate about 4 people however staff are more than happy to push the tables together to make a much larger one if you require. There is usually a small bar/ counter at one end of the restaurant should you require any drinks, however there is usually plenty of staff around to take any orders from the tables, there also tends to be just one till set on its own at one side out of the way of the eating area. For me I think they could possibly do with more than one till per restaurant, this is fine for the smaller Pizza Huts, but I have been to some that are quite large and one till really isn't really enough, causing quite large ques.
On the whole the Pizza, Huts I have been to have been reasonably clean and tidy with the tables being cleared straight away and any food spilt on the floor cleaned immediately. The staff are pretty good, most of them are efficient and friendly and do not rush you or pressure you into choosing your food quickly. I have also found that despite Pizza Hut restaurants generally being quite busy they do give you enough time in between courses, this is something that is quite hard to judge as you do not want your desert too soon after your main meal but then again you do not want to be sitting there for ages waiting for them to take your desert order, on the whole Pizza Hut seem to have got this just right. Apart from these odd occasions, I have enjoyed many meals in various Pizza Hut restaurants and will continue to use them in the future from time to time as generally you do get good service and the food is pretty good and reasonably cheap. Pizza Hut is a good place to take your children as it is very child friendly, I have been there on several occasions where there has been a child's party going on, they decorate the area with balloons and banners and cater for all your needs.
Another point to remember is that you can also use your vouchers at Pizza Hut which is also very handy. So overall yes I would recommend Pizza Hut but I would just be careful to check that the food you have received is what you ordered!
