So It Works. Review on Penta T-Pad WS802C

Friends , I am posting this review to share my true feeling .I know penta company and other web sites not serving much info about panel products.There is too much complaints about customer care of penta and also about products.First I booked penta ipad ws 802c on their website they confirmed it instantly .I got purchasing notice mail after 4 days telling me to deposited money with PNB challan but they didn't attached challan. I replied and again in 4 days they sent challan form.I think they believe in replying in 4-4 days .Any way till than I read lot of complaints on internet so I didn't dared to deposited money.Suddenly on 30-August 2012 my friend telephoned me that now it is available locally so I went to local dealer and purchased it in 14700 rupees .Too prompt service by dealer .He him self checked and sold me.Now how I feel-

1.Look and weight-Pleasent signing white color frame attract .Weight is not so more.Bulky but good.

2.Display and Screen-8 inch screen good but they not provided scrach guard so 2-3 scratches happen on first day.Capacitative screen is too responsive and good.Physical buttons on right side is bad because by mistake every time they pushed and disturb work.Display is not good in bright sunlight.

3.camera-rear 2 MP Is pretty good and Front is so and so not good.

4.Connectivity- (a)Sim slot-Too good I inserted 2g airtel sim .It worked good .Calling feature available .I called and received .I surf internet .Browser is fast .Downloading speed is not good only 10-15 kb /sec.I downloaded file explorer /ebook reader /tom cat from android market on tablet for free.So google android market available. 3G works very good with this tablet but problem is that every time you have to search network signal.It take lot of time. major complaint of bsnl and penta that they do not provide sim as they promise.I am also not exception.

(b)Full and regular USB port-Read my pen drive .They didnt gave good file explorer so I find much difficulty to see content in my pen drive .I downloaded i-explore of lonely cat which solved problem.Not tried yet pointing device key board.

(c)Wi Fi-works superb. I tried Tata photon plus Dongle but it didn't worked.Although they announce on their website"s technical faq page that it will support but it didnt .I called to customer care and they told that even they do not know about it and will reply me in evening.Example of worst customer care.If any body think they want this to surf on this with dongle than forget and no need to purchase it.Its regular usb port only read pendrive and not read ZTE USB broadband cable. Otg cable they didn't given.

(d)Mini usb Present and working good while connecting to pc but it do not charge.

(e)SD card slot-Tried 8 gb card .It read and good.

(f)Bluetooth present-Works well

5.Operating system and Software-In my life I seen the first web site that lie so much .Tablet is equipped with ICS 4 but they still say in their manual ginger bread 2.3.Tablet have 2 camera t. I first time encountered android in my life but thank god it is good experience.Operating system ICS 4 in this tab is fast and multi tasking is possible.Tablet didnt hang in 2 day and in future god knows.They didnt provided good file explorer so I felt too difficulty in reading contents of pen drive.

File explorer with tab es -explorer is bad .it only shows content of internal 2 gb drive.Have to download other explorer.Office application are 2 polaris and document on go are good .Although they do not read office 2007 applications.I didn't tried document in Hindi.They didn't provided e-book reader . I downloaded it .Calender clock alarm are good.Photo edit angribird are good.Vedio player present do not play avi files but WM/Flash/ 3gp. Mp4 run well.

6.Vedio and audio-vedio quality is good , In audio speakers are not loud so not good .Voice not clear.Headphone option present and with clear audio.

7.Battery -It drained in almost 3 hours in first run and took around 4 hour to full charging.More battery loss while playing game and multi task .

Over all -It is good tablet for who are not so enthusiastic.It is somewhat expensive.Because with calling facility and ics 4 tab.with its feature (not including regular usb) are much cheaper.It is good for who like calling , 2g surfing, office work mail and leisure work and who are not fond of loud audio. Customer care is worst and plz. think before ordering on there web site that too much complaint about not getting product in time and about BSNL SIM forget it they are using only name of BSNL to sell product .Do not give sim , 3G facility and dongle connection.I am happy because I surf with 2g airtel sim and wi-fi . Calling and messaging is excellent.

Pros- -ICS4 -Regular usb port. -Android market -Calling and messaging. -Dual camera. -Mail and office feature also face book and orkut. -Good office and pdf application.

Cons- -some what expensive. -Not supporting dongle. -File explorer not good, e-book reader not present. -Poor audio and battery. -Screen vulnarable to scratch. -Poor customer care If any body from penta reading this review please comment here so I can approach you to your customer care no.which is run by irresponsible people. .
