Paytm offers easy to use interface, and quick recharge options. I found it helpful. I must have spent thousands in the past year using Paytm. At first I liked it. But, that's not the end of the story. The devil was unleashed when one day, I had a problem with their payment system, and my money vanished. I sent them a support request. They sent me an email
"Hi my_name,
I am xxxxx I am going to do my best to solve your problem.
I’m sorry that the recharge for your mobile number_mobile number_ did not happen.
We have not received amount for this transaction from your bank. In such cases the bank automatically refunds the amount into your account. It may take between 3 to 10 working days for the refund to reflect in your account. The refund timelines vary from bank to bank.
In case of any delay in receiving your amount, I suggest you please get in touch with your bank.
Kindly wait for 10 days for the amount to reflect in your bank account.
I hope this helps. Should you need any further assistance, let me know.
Look forward to see you again at Paytm.
Best wishes xxxxx"
Paytm provides a horrible customer support. They simply send you a copy-paste reply whatever you query is, and close the thread whether or not the problem is resolved. Before I could add my thoughts, the thread was closed. They were too quick to blame my bank. I later found my money as paytm cash.
In the same week, the problem occurred another few times, and guess what, They sent me the same email above, and closed the complain, lol.
After some time, my money was found as paytm cash. I tried to withdraw it back to my bank. And, guess what, I got a similar mail again, and this time they asked for some more details. I sent them the details. But, I didn't get a response. I check out the complaint using the zen desk link, which said that the request was either resolved or deleted. I was disgusted!
It's been more than 10 days. My money is still missing. I hate paytm.
