The Bhubaneswar Planetarium is the only major one in the state of Odisha and is a major attraction for children and the youth.
Location: Centrally located at Acharya Vihar square.Can be easily reached using auto and bus.
Ticketing: Tickets are sold 1 hour before the shows.Did not face a long queue as it was a working day.The behaviour of the ticket issuer and collector was not cordial.
Seating and Comfort: The size of the main room is not too large.Seats were not very comfortable.The air conditioning was a bit low and I was sweating during the first five minutes.
Picture and Sound: English show was on Mars.Picture was OK but sound quality was not good.Most people slept through the show.
Food and Drink: Did not find any food stall within the premise.
Basic Facilities: Toilets were not prooerly maintained.
Overall it was a dissapointing experience.Being the only major palnetarium in Odisha I expect the authorities to work on its improvement.
