My views : I went to Pantaloons for shopping here in Kolkata at the Kankurgachi branch along with my sister. After seeing so much ads and promotion on media, we decided to check this store out. So last year , we visited this store in August. As Kolkata is a city of festivals , we had Durga puja coming up in October. So, we went with the thought of doing some puja shopping. The first thing which we found disappointing was everything was overly priced. The shirts, bags, trousers, everything looked to be of good quality though. We asked for discounts and they said minimum shopping of 3000 make us eligible for discounts. So, I bought a pair of jeans, t-shirts and my sister took kurti, leggings, handkerchief and a clutch bag. We got discounts and was very happy but things changed when we wore the dresses. The jeans lasted not more than the entire puja ocassion. Same happened with my sister and we both decided never to buy stuff from that store. The clutch bag was priced 1K and it wore out in just 7 months. It was an overall horrible experience and I donot recommend buying products from this store.
