My cousin bought the OnePlus Nord 5 hoping for a fast and smooth phone. It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which looked promising. But after a few weeks, he noticed the phone often lagged when switching apps. Some games also did not run well, which was disappointing.
During a long video call, the phone heated up and became uncomfortable to hold. The battery life was also poor. Even with moderate use, he had to charge it before the day ended.
He was unhappy with the camera too. Photos taken indoors or at night were grainy and lacked detail. For the price, he expected better performance.
Overall, the OnePlus Nord 5 did not meet his expectations. I suggest looking at other options before buying this phone.
