Review of OM Logistics:
My recent experience with OM Logistics has been frustrating, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts to warn others about this service.
Overview of the Situation
On October 14, I booked a consignment of essential medicine from Noida to Mysore, trusting that OM Logistics would handle the delivery efficiently. Unfortunately, a series of delays and miscommunications followed, leaving me deeply dissatisfied with their service.
Timeline of Events
• October 14: The consignment was booked, and I expected a timely delivery.
• October 15: The package left Noida, which seemed promising at first.
• October 23: The consignment reached Bangalore. However, this was where the delays began to spiral out of control.
• October 28: After an agonizing wait of 13 days, the package finally arrived in Mysore.
Delivery Delays and Communication Issues
What was particularly alarming was the lack of communication regarding the status of my shipment. After it reached Mysore on October 28, I inquired about the delivery, only to be told that I needed to pick it up myself from a location in the city. This was not only inconvenient but also completely unexpected, especially for a logistics service that claims to offer door-to-door delivery.
Adding to my frustration was the information displayed on their website, which indicated an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of October 31. This discrepancy between the actual arrival date and the ETA created confusion and led me to believe that my package was still en route when it had already arrived.
Conclusion: A Service to Avoid
The entire experience with OM Logistics has been marked by inefficiency and a lack of responsibility. It is unacceptable for a logistics company to take so long for a relatively short distance—just 140 km—and then require customers to pick up their packages without prior notice.
Given this experience, I have decided never to use OM Logistics again and will actively advise my colleagues and business partners against using their services. In an industry where timely delivery is crucial, OM Logistics has proven to be one of the worst logistics services I have encountered in India.
I sincerely hope they take these concerns seriously and make necessary improvements; however, until then, I cannot recommend them to anyone seeking reliable logistics solutions until then.
