For those of you who have been bitten by the photography bug, but do not want the complications of an SLR, this is just the product for you. Olympus is a master in cameras. Their smaller autofocus cameras are popular anyways, specially the mju series. This is yet another beauty from them. This is an automatic SLR ( Single Lens reflex).It ha a built in popup flash, which is quite powerful and a lens, that is built inot the camera.
The zoom lens can be either 38-110 or 28-90 depending on the model. But this is definitely a better choice than going in for the autozooms ( the smaller models). For one thing handling is a lot easier on the IS series cameras. We do not have the smaller buttons as in the other zooms. Plus there is the SLR advantage. You shoot exactly the way u want it.You can compose the subject and shoot. And the cost is relatively the same to. In the grey market, it costs around Rs 16000...approx 350 $. worth the moolah
