The O2 Xda Atom life is one of the most feature packed smart phones to hit the market, with features like HSDPA, a 2 mega pixel camera, SRS WOW HD surround sound, as well as MP3 and FM radio. The Xda Atom Life is a triband GSM 900/1800/1900, UMTS 1900/2100, GPRS and 3.5G HSDPA phone.
It performs quite well for voice calls, with reasonable in-call quality and good volume levels, but the quality of the hands-free speakerphone is poor. The Atom Life includes a handsfree speakerphone, speed dialing, call history, and a 1000 entry phone book. Being a 3G handset, it is also capable of video calling thanks to a front mounted VGA camera.
As it runs the popular and latest Windows Mobile 6 operating system, the Xda Atom Life has mobile versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player 10 and Pocket MSN. Both the built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and the GPRS/EDGE wireless functionality make the Xda Atom Life an excellent e-mail device.
It has office applications and all other PDA utilities in a small version. It does not have a QWERTY keyboard or a button pad but a touch screen to operate. However it is expensite at 34000.
