The Nokia lumia 525 was launched 2 years ago and I bought it after few weeks it was released.
I have to say my experience with this device have been good and due to the quality and trust of Nokia, I only once did I have to go to service center and even that was my own fault not the phone's.
I have to say the device has fell from my hands almost 19-12 times but is still intact and working fine. I have seen that Windows phones are generally very snappy and stable in performance.
Although the phone runs fine on Windows phone 8.1 Denim, I have faced Slight performance issues in games or even in some apps. Since the device has only 1GHz Dual core processor and 1GB RAM, I don't think it can handle newer stuff and the latest Windows 10 operating system for phones. I have used the insider preview on this phone but it was pretty unusable and unstable.
Since the world of technology has changed drastically over the last couple of years, the days of Lumia 525 seem to be over and there are much better phones available both android and Windows phone.
There is a 5MP camera without flash so it is only for daylight photography and also there is no front camera. There is no gorilla glass or any oleo-phobic coating on the screen. The windows phone OS itself is a little lacking in quality apps and optimization. So I do think that lumia 525 was an awesome phone when it was launched but now it is irrelevant to buy a phone with so old hardware.
