There are some Pros and Cons with this camera

Pros

-. Easy to operate

  • A good number of still image features for a budget camera

  • Good resolution for still images and some nice settings to play with

  • Compact and convenient to carry

  • Up to 32GB SD card

  • Video image stabilization is reasonable

  • 7x optical zoom

Cons

  • Panorama mode is basically worthless. I got better panoramas off my Samsung phone

  • Video quality is poor in anything but daylight, and does not record in full HD, and video options are very limited

  • On camera light for video tends to blind subjects

  • Proprietary USB port on the camera means you have to use the Nikon cable

  • Low light photographs are poor quality, even at higher ISO settings

  • No optical zoom on video mode

  • Often lag a lot while processing captured images

and remain irresponsive sometime for more then 1 minute

Conclusion

For a day out or vacation where you'll be doing mostly still shots, it's not a bad camera for the price. If you plan to do a lot of low light photography, panorama or video, you should look elsewhere
