There are some Pros and Cons with this camera
Pros
-. Easy to operate
A good number of still image features for a budget camera
Good resolution for still images and some nice settings to play with
Compact and convenient to carry
Up to 32GB SD card
Video image stabilization is reasonable
7x optical zoom
Cons
Panorama mode is basically worthless. I got better panoramas off my Samsung phone
Video quality is poor in anything but daylight, and does not record in full HD, and video options are very limited
On camera light for video tends to blind subjects
Proprietary USB port on the camera means you have to use the Nikon cable
Low light photographs are poor quality, even at higher ISO settings
No optical zoom on video mode
Often lag a lot while processing captured images
and remain irresponsive sometime for more then 1 minute
Conclusion
For a day out or vacation where you'll be doing mostly still shots, it's not a bad camera for the price. If you plan to do a lot of low light photography, panorama or video, you should look elsewhere
