The standard of English news is so poor that you will miss Doordarshan English news. I’m not sure what is the bench mark of choosing these news readers. The pronunciation of the words is so pathetic that I refrain from running the news when my kids are around fearing they will pick the poor accent and mis pronunciation. For a city like Bangalore and at today’s era it’s ironic that you have a channel like this where you fail to understand what the news reader is vomiting as so called English news.
