Although living in Kolkata for last 35 years, I went to Digha after 25 Years, it is 4 Hours Bus journey from Kolkata to Digha, we went there in rainy season and expected heavy rains in Digha. We stayed 2 days there and we did not have a single drop of rain only crystal clear sunshine which I love very much. Digha is situated between Orrisa and Bengal border and as a tourist you can visit Udaipur Sea beach, Science Museum, Marine Research Center etc.
We hired a mine cab to reach Talsari(Orissa) which is confluence of River Subarnarekha and the Ocean, which was a fascinating site to watch.
