Naukri.com is the site . Where I visited for online data entry operator and I saw this adds from TV . When you create your profile on it . You will get able to get portal for application of jobs .
Same way the recruiters create their profile and check
For eligible candidates which they need for their openings .
They search with key words like no years of experience, skill needed etc . If your profile hapen to have such so and so experience with so skills , they searched your profile will pop-up in their list . They sometimes check up profile inside but sometimes do not check and don't send mail .
But my suggestion , if you are a fresher do not go around with naukri.com . There are special job portal like fresherworld.com , chetanaforum and such .
Also way it works is , if there are ten profile is coming up , as a result then last updated on the top with the most non-current at the bottom of list .
I wouldn't summarize that it doesn't work because
apparently it works for few . Naukri perhaps doesn't keep a tab on the responsiveness of the employer listed on its portal ! May be the staff who send such bulk mails and don't have respond just have targets to meet ?
So look at same portal like Job search india, inneed which are more job Agreegator or the ones recommend by other person given below . Linkedin is another great venue .
Naukri has been arround for long but the service , I must say has dropped as it diversified so it could be another venue for you .
