Help & Support:

I have been using my MTS MBlaze Data Card in Bangalore (and out of state) on and off for last couple of years.

Or should I say 'not using' because after every recharge, especially during travel, I am greeted with pathetic and totally unusable internet connection and speeds.

I get reminded about the good old dial-up days with 56 kbps speeds which was considered 'broadband' back then. Looks like MTS is still living in the past. This is true where they don't have MBlaze coverage. Only MBrowse is available which is supposed to give 1X speeds but I don't even get that. The connection is painfully SLOOOOOOW and drops repeatedly.

Oh, and talking about their customer (dis)service, the only time they remember I am still their customer is when my recharge validity expires and they make sure at least 5 different people call to remind me to recharge until I get fed up and end up recharging whether I need to use this piece of junk or not.

I totally agree with some other reviewers here that the government should 'BAN' such companies who cannot provide the most basic of service to their customers. e.g. Govt of India's official definition of Broadband is -

“Broadband connection may be defined as a data connection using any technology that is able to support interactive services including Internet access and support a minimum download speed of 512 Kilo bits per second (Kbps). It is to be noted that the upload speed will at least be half the download speed.

This definition of broadband (Both Wireline and Wireless) given in para 6.21 above, which will be effective from 1st January 2011. The stipulated download speed of 2 Mbps will be effective from 1st January 2015.”

So, any company like MTS which uses the word 'Broadband' in their products but does not provide the 'minimum' speed of 512kbps is illegally duping it's customers and govt should cancel their licenses and ban such companies from doing business.

Hope this review helps someone to avoid getting conned by this fraud company.
