Choosing is topic to write on in MS

There are a lot of categories to write on in MS but what are the common ones that one usually writes on are :

1. Movies

2. Commodity Products like Car, Bike, Mobile, beauty products,

3. Music albums

4. Books

5. Airlines

6. Common sexual problems

7. Mouthshut

All the above category have numerous revu’s. On a average maximum write reviews on Movies, music album, restaurants, beauty products. A famous movie like Bunty aur Babli has more than 65 revu’s.Choosing a good topic is always in my mind. I would try to write on something different and expect a lot of readers to RRC. I mostly avoid writing on the regular movies as there are already thousand written on them.

Then to write on products like Car /Bikes/ Airlines …Here if I haven’t used the product I cannot write on the same.

A most favourite topic is Common sexual problems…here all get a lot of ratings and comments. But not many have the guts to write on this as Comments are harsh, Distrusted by many, Fights among the others due to the incompatibility, difference of opinions.

I am a member for past few months and was on my 10th revu…Finally after a long time found something nice to discuss with all. Hence, I posted a revu on “Intercaste Marriages” (which was not fitting in a category listed hence put in category of Common sexual problems). Got a lot of response from MS friends. Also, the topic was not offending…infact it highlighted the areas that get missed in life. To my surprise it was deleted the next day after posting it on site. The customer support sent me a mail saying that a they are sorry to delete my review as the topic is not listed in MS and if I want to write on something unlisted then I should first request for a category in the mouthpad. Which I did thinking they will process and let me know later. In matter of 1 hour they mailed me saying that they cannot add this category as there is no subcategory for that !!!!!!!

Mouthshut should be a little liberal. Remove topics like write revu on 10 Movies, topics which are hardly written on. Make more space for new topics. If a member request for a category after posting revu …include in a section meant for temporary categories and after getting more revu on that topic, shift it to main category…try to innovate new horizons. This will make MS popular and likeable place and there won’t be review like this about MS from irritated members.
