This is a reasonable coffee maker for anyone embarking on coffee making using premium coffees rather than making instant coffees. It is easy to use and maintain and the milk frothing nozzle makes a good cappuccino. The body is sturdy but the glass beaker breaks easily(don't expose to cold water immediately after making coffee!) and is difficult to replace(the local shop even tried hard to sell me a whole new machine rather than bother with replacing the beaker - what cheek!). I have lost recently the milk frother nozzle and can't make cappuccino, so don't lost this! Having said these points, I have used other coffee makers from other manufacturers overseas and they invariably make better coffee than this one. So consider this a base model from which to upgrade from over time.
