I had purchased microtech UPS (Desire Model)14 months back for my PC. It had came with 1 year warrenty of battery. Unfortunately batry become week after 12 months and my PC shutsdown when there is a power cut.
Its okay with me, but problem is with the Service they provide. I had never seen such a pathetic service in my life time.
So, in order to repaire this I had went to a local Micortech shop located in Nallasopara. Instead of repairing they had given a number and asked me to call this number for further assistance. When I called that number the guy on the other end just said Hello and asked me to wait a minute. After waiting for 3-4 minutes there was no response so I kept the phone in frustration.
Next time when I called that number again, I got the same reply to that I got angry and ask that guy that how many peoples are there to handle your call in that response he had not replied me and insisted me to tell the query.
I explained him all the problem. He said your UPS battery need replacement and it will cost you 780 rupees. I said okay can you please send somebody to replace battery. In that response he said that you need to bring your UPS at their office which was located in Andheri which is 50 km away from my home. I was shocked the how can he expect me to bring 10kg UPS at your place, why don't you send some seriveman to repaire it. He said no we do not send, you need to bring it here itself.
Now, what kind of service they are giving God knows. They are just putting advertisements in TVs and they are not good at all.
Home service is a basic service any Manufacturer will give, I remember, when a guy from Bajaj had came to replay my Emergency Light battery at my home, that was a very light weight product but this is a damn heavy thing. Why can't they give such service?
I will never buy and Microtech product in my life.
