Boring movie! Not worth it!
Performances:
Typical Arjun Kapoor acting, not a great one. Comic timing is not that great. Harsh Gujral have tried, but again not a great performance. Bhumi Pednekar was loud. Rakul Preet was fine, there's nothing new to her performance. Shakti Kapoor plays Arjun Kapoor's father. His role is quite small. The only good looking person in the movie was Dino Morea, playing Rakul's big brother. Aditya Seal, playing Bhumi's boyfriend, was fine with a very short role.
Story:
Movie starts with Arjun Kapoor getting nightmares of Bhumi. Basically, Arjun Kapoor had a divorce with Bhumi, but he could not take her out of his mind. In his nightmares, it shown as if Bhumi is the Dayan who horrifies him. Harsh Gujral is his best buddy, who wants him to move on. Arjun Kapoor's dad has a Real Estate firm. For a deal, he sends him somewhere, where he meets his childhood crush: Rakul Preet. She is shown as a handgliding instructor. Harsh forces him to take a handgliding session. And then their friendship increases, and eventually fall in love. Finally, he proposes Rakul. Same night he gets a call from the hospital that his wife met with an accident. Later on he comes to know that she had an acute memory loss, where she does not remember their divorce. The story surrounds around this plot where Arjun kapoor is grind between Bhumi and Rakul. Rakul take Bhumi's family to Scotland where Arjun and Rakul's wedding events where supposed to happen. 2nd half shows competition between Bhumi and Rakul over Arjun Kapoor.
Positive Points:
- Good Chemistry: Rakul and Arjun's chemistry was good in the film.
- Good Costumes: Really good costumes and overall look of the characters.
- Music is good: Recreated Gori Hai Kalayian with Badshah, which is a good recreation.
- Few Scenes are really good comedy scenes.
Negative Points:
- Lack of Comic Timing: All have tried but lack a great comic timing.
- Storyline: Its boring, and predictable.
Final Verdict:
Overall its okay to watch it once. There are better movies than this. If you like romcom genre then can give it a try.
