I visited Matheran in Feb and stayed at this beautiful place called Hope hall. I always look into booking the places I usually travel to so was a bit unsure about this place coz my friends had booked it. But thankfully, my stay was marvellous.
We were 6 of us drove down to Neral station and walked a lot form there to matheran station. A long walk with breaks for snaps, raw mangoes and lime juices. Cant forget to mention, the beloved annoying crazy monkeys who were all the time waiting to snatch anything and everything from our hands.
We reached matheran station and in 5 minutes Hope Hall, the place we would reside for 2 days.
Greeted by a dog barking and two other doggie’s that came around us. and walked away satisfied. I guess they were checking us out . and we passed their test.
