I booked a 5 Nights / 6 Days Kerala holiday package through MakeMyTrip, which included flights, hotel stays, and activities. However, just before my trip, my flight from Mumbai to Kochi (booked as part of the package) was delayed by several hours, causing us to lose an entire day of our holiday.
When I reached out to MakeMyTrip support for compensation or itinerary adjustment, they simply refused to take responsibility, stating that I should contact the airline. But that makes no senseI booked the entire package through MakeMyTrip, and its their duty as the tour operator to manage disruptions and ensure the promised experience.
No assistance, no compensation, no alternative solutions were offered. Just cold redirection.
Very disappointing for a company that claims to offer seamless travel experiences. I trusted them with my vacation, and they failed to deliver the value they promised.
Will think twice before booking with MakeMyTrip again.
