I own Mahindra Thar( 3-door version, Petrol, 4x4, Automatic, Red, fully loaded version) since June-2022. Purchased the car after quite a deliberation to buy one. It was a heart over mind decision. I guess most of the Thar owners faced similar dilemma. Continue to enjoy the trouble-free ownership and never regret my decision to own this beauty. I am writing this review in Mar2025, the car is in top condition. I still see some enthusiastic boys and girls taking selfies in front of my Thar. The youngest toddlers seems to be the biggest admirers of this SUV as I have seen them smiling and staring admiringly at Thar.
The SUV is best suited for everyone who want to have a rugged looking go anywhere kind of reliable vehicle.
Avoid this car if you have a family of more than 3, or having very elderly parents who are not physically active / agile and you want to use this as a Primary car- the 5-door version will be a better fit.
