I had consulted Dr.Shreedhara Singh for my lower backache. He asked me to get an x-ray done & diagnosed medicines for couple of weeks.During my next visit he suggested me to get MRI (Rs.6, 500/-) done by Santosh Lab only. And suggested me to show this MRI at his clinic near cunningham road. He charged consultation fee of Rs.300/- here & also made me to buy a belt for Rs.1, 500/-.During my next visit he suggested me to undergo a surgery, diagnosing the ailment as minor slipdisc.
Since I have insurance through my organization money was not a problem. He also ensured that he will do all the paper work that is needed to be done.Thank God that my sub-conscious mind suggested me to go for second opinion. I consulted an orthopaedician at Columbia Asia Hospital near Hebbal. He confirmed that surgery is not required but gave minimal medication & suggested physiotheraphy. I was also told to do spinal exercises.
Now I am almost normal for more than 1 month.I have had good experiences with other doctors in this hospital but this doctor was an exception.Friends, never believe this fellow. He is ready to cut your body for the sake of money.Regards, Krishna
