This hospital should be ashamed of themselves. I have been covering the story of a sick boy who was dropped off by his family here. When the family did not return for a few days to claim the boy, the ward boys from this hospital loaded him onto a stretcher and literally threw him into a garbage pile behind hospital(next to gate #3).
The garbage pile had hospital waste in it, including used syringes, bloody gloves, broken glass and sewage. What's even more shocking is that the boy was mentally disabled, couldn't walk and did not have the ability to hear or talk.
The poor soul laid there hungry and helpless for 15 days. He couldn't crawl out of the garbage and it wasn't until NDTV got involved that these people finally readmitted him.
I had contacted the hospital principal Dr. Ganesh Kumar and the man did not have the spine to speak to me directly. He had his assistant Siddique Ali explain the child's condition, which they had gotten completely wrong.
I must admit that in their staff, Dr. R.K. Agarwal was very cooperative and gave me constant feedback on the child. The child's immediate doctor, Dr. PK Jain was very arrogant as well. Even when we informed him that an organization(Pingalwara Association) was going to adopt him, his reply was "Why? We will put him in an orphanage".
This hospital needs serious legal action taken against them, especially their negligent doctors. First, they should have been treating the patient with respect and not thrown him out like garbage and second, why was the hospital waste lying untreated outside?
This is just one case that has come to view. God knows how many other such cases exist where the patient lost their life to these people.
