My mom had his triple bypass surgery last week. We had great experience at Apollo Bangloare. The surgery was done using minimally invasive technique with no sternum cuts.
Surgery was successful and fast recovery. One day at ICU, 2 days in hospital and we flew back home. Dad is now waking 20 minutes daily now and virtually pain free. Hospital staff and nurses were very caring. Apollo Cardiac unit could be rated as a top hospital in India.
Special mention to Dr Satyaki Nambala. He responded to every one of my emails and is one of the top cardiac surgeons in the world. Truly awesome!
To complete a review, I should also point out some areas to improve.
The cafeteria did not come up to the standards to the rest of the hospital.
Its more like a canteen than professionally run cafeteria. I guess this is not an issue if you live in Bangalore.
