Amazing performances by Farhaan Akhtar and Konkona Sen. Farhaan plays the role of an ordinary guy with extraordinary talent, and as sensible as he comes across at first, he gives in to the temptations that life presents him with and is fascinated by the new found power that draws him closer like a moth to a flame.
Konkona plays the role of a girl with big dreams - of playing the lead role in a movie. She can act but doesn’t have the looks to pull it through. Beautiful portrayal of emotions when things don’t work out as planned. With a commendable performance, in her kitty, Konkona steals the show.
What to look out for: Soul-stirring music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. An unconventional and unexpected climax. Outstanding performances by Konkona Sen, Farhaan Akhtar. What not to look out for: Isha Sharwani comes across as silly and irritating at times!But perhaps the role demands it!
